His Presence - Poem

I sit at the altar.
 I humbly acknowledge His presence.
My eyes closed but in my mind I could picture Jesus Christ sitting on His throne,
His glory shining all around.
I sat in front of the cross, my eyes brimming with tears for all He has done for me.
His love and grace is more than I could ever deserve or even imagine.
I just want to sit here, in His presence.

Psalms 73:28 says , "But as for me, God’s presence is my good. I have made the Lord God my refuge, so I can tell about all You do."

Redeemed

I am redeemed.

Redemption.

God's plan for redemption started in the garden of Eden.

After Adam and Eve sinned than God made a plan for redemption for mankind.

Genesis 3:15, "He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel."

After the fall then we failed Him over and over again, we still do. But in the midst of the pain and sin then God stuck to His promise to Abraham.

Psalm 31:5, "Into Your hand I entrust my spirit; You redeem me, Lord, God of truth."

Jesus was born into the world. That's what we celebrated at Christmas. His birth. He was born to die. He died for each and every person. He came to redeem. When He died on that cross He redeemed us.

Redeem means to purchase or to ransom. He paid for you with His blood. Even if you were the only person on earth He would have still died that death for you.

He loves you.
You are cherished. You are loved. You are redeemed.

Jesus Christ redeemed you.

Never forget that.

Love Came Down- Poem

Love Came Down

Love came down.
He took off His crown.
He came to save,
but He was turned away.
He stepped off His throne,
He was born where animals roam.

Love came down.
In the dark I was found.
He came to redeem,
to Him I will sing.
I will say His great name,
as long as time remains.

Love came down.

God's plan

You are chosen.
You are loved.
You are valued.
You have a part in God's plan.

Do not ever think of yourself as worthless.

You don't deserve God's love, but neither do I. But His grace and love is so abundant. You have an important role to play in God's plan... let Him use you in His will.

God used a prostitute (Rahab), a shepherd (David), a Gentile (Ruth) and a murderer (Saul/Paul) and He can use you. It's never to late.

Sometimes we don't see God's will in the what's happening around us, but trust me, there is a reason. Never turn away from God.

Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Pray for God to show you His plan for your life, but remember to be patient, God's answers to prayer are no, yes, and often wait.

And don't forget that God is already at work in your life. Look around you, see what God is doing.

Romans 12:2,
"Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God."
